Kina Petrova was born in Varna. She graduated from The National Art Academy in Sofia with “Scenography” speciality in the class of Prof. Georgy Karakashev.

She's had solo exhibitions in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Balchik. Her works have also been exhibited in Paris, Holland and Prague. As part of group exhibitions, her paintings have been on display in Paris, Helsinki, Lisbon, Washington, Odessa, and others.

Kina realises theatre projects in the Czech Republic, in Moscow, at The National Academic Theatre for Opera and Ballet – Sofia, at The Drama Theatre – Varna, in the town of Veliko Turnovo and others. Her works are on display in galleries in almost all big cities in the country and also in private collections all over the world. The expressive realism, space and inner energy are the basic distinctive feature of her works.
